John L. Dorr, 40, of Eaton, died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton.

He was born Oct. 1, 1964, in North Adams, Mass. He worked in construction for many years.

Survivors include his father, Milton A. Dorr Jr. of Camden; his mother, Barbara (Lindsey) Dorr of Inwood, W. Va.; four children, Tammy Nicole Dorr and her mother, Karen J. Dorr of Eaton, Nashelle Elaine Dorr, Michael Anthony Dorr III and John Luther Dorr II and their mother, Robin Clark, all of Eaton; three brothers, Milton Dorr and Clinton Dorr, both of Kearneysville, W. Va., and Rodney Dorr of Inwood, W. Va.; two sisters, Karen Dorr of Richmond, Ind., and Teresa Goode of Middleway, W. Va.; and other family members.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael A. "Mark" Dorr; his stepmother, Carol J. Dorr; and a nephew, Michael A. Dorr II.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Nein-Thompson Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday just prior to services at the funeral home.
