Son of Oliver A. Drake and Edith B. Lamp. He married Mabel C. Pinney 22 Jun 1918 in Plankinton.

Heart Attack Fatal To Ernest Drake, York Twp. Farmer

Ernest Randolph Drake, York township, died suddenly at his home Monday morning as the result of a heart attack. He was 54 years old.

Mr. Drake apparently in good health, had attended a family reunion the day before, and Monday morning took some farm machinery to the home of his nephew, W.H. Troth. Upon returning home, he complained of feeling very ill, and before help could be summoned, had passed away.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Reck Mortuary, and were of the Sunbeam church. The re-conducted by Rev. Barrows, pastor mains were taken to Mr. Drake's former home at Plankington where services were conducted by the Masonic Lodge Wednesday afternoon.
