Emma G. Baer, 87, of Allegheny Lutheran Home, formerly of Davidsville, died April 13, 1989 at the Home. Born April 11, 1902 in Johnstown, daughter of George and Emma (Frank) Ginter. Preceded in death by parents, husband Lloyd on March 2, 1974; sister Minnie Florence Ginter and brothers Lawrence, Howard, Irvin, and William. Survived by daughter Carolyn, wife of Rev. David G. Volk, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Perth Amboy, N.J.; and son Alan, married to Janice Christie, of Tullahoma, Tenn. Also seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Last surviving member of Ginter-Frank families.

Mrs. Baer was a member of St. David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville; various retired teachers associations, Anna L. Windolph Chapter No. 495 O.E.S. and Ladies Auxiliary, Oriental Commandry No. 61, Knights Templar of Penn. Charter member of Connumach Lioness Club and Conemaugh Township Area Historical Society.

Mrs. Baer was a retired elementary teacher from the Conemaugh Township Area School District with over 26 years service.
