Mrs. Gust Anderson was born July 23, 1899 in Moe township, the daughter of Robert and Gedia Foslien. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On October 16, 1920 she was united in marriage to Gust A. Anderson. They lived in Brandon until 1937 when they moved to Osakis where Mr. Anderson was in the plumbing and heating business. In 1951 they moved to Minneapolis.
Mrs. Anderson passed away January 19, 1962, at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 20 days. Survivors include three daughters and one son: Mrs. Leland Gray (Adeline) of Richfield, Mrs. Calvin Jones (Elvira) of Escondidio, Calif., Ardis and Alfred of Minneapolis. Also surviving are six granddaughters and one great grandson, and one brother, Roy Foslien of Compton, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers.
