OBITUARIES BLANCHE CURRY
Agnes Blanche Ellenwood was born June 21, 1901 near Jones, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Ellenwood. Departed this life May 26, 1961 at her home in Boswell, Okla. She moved to Oklahoma City about 1921 and took a business course at the Capital City Business College. She worked for about 13 years in the Revenue Accounting Dept. for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., first as a toll billing typist, later as the final bill clerk in the toll department. She was converted at an early age and joined the Methodist church and was for many years a faithful secretary in the Primary department of the Centenary Methodist church in Oklahoma City. She was married Dec. 23, 1933 to Charley L. Curry of Jones, Okla. To this union two sons were born, Clifford Leon, who preceded her in death and Homer Paul of Oklahoma City. She united with the Baptist church in 1942. As a minister's wife she found many things to do. She was a teacher of a Beginner's class in one Sunday School and at the time she took sick was teacher of the Young Married Women's class in the Boswell Baptist church. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, May 29 in the Boswell Baptist church and graveside services at 4:30 p.m. at the Memory Lane cemetery, Harrah, Okla. She was a loving wife and mother and she leaves to mourn her loss the husband, Rev. C. L. Curry of the home; a son, Homer Paul of 1229 SE 21; two sisters, Mrs. Zona Mellinger, 824 NW 7 and Mrs. C. F. M. Sellars, 2015 NW 27; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Rites Monday For Mrs. Agnes Curry
BOSWELL — Funeral rites will be held at the Boswell Baptist church at 10 a.m. Monday for Mrs. Agnes B. Curry, 59, who died at her home here Friday. Services will be conducted by Rev. Herman Highfill, assisted by Rev. Alton and burial, under direction of the Coffey Funeral Home, will be in the Harrah, Okla., cemetery. Mrs. Curry, wife of Rev. Charles E. Curry, pastor of the Boswell Baptist church, was born at Jones, Okla., June 21, 1901, and was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include her husband, one son Homer Paul Curry. Oklahoma City; two sisters. Mrs. Ollie Sellers and Mrs. Zona Mellenger, both of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.
