Funeral services for Mrs. Dorlean Acreman, 90, of Carthage, MS formerly of Monticello, LA will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello with Rev. Fred Hale and Rev. Billy Castilaw officiating.
Visitation will be from 2PM Wednesday at the church until time of services.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

Mrs. Acreman died Monday at Leake Memorial Extended Care Facility in Carthage, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Giles Acreman; her parents, Ollie Almond Thomas and Viola Kitchens Thomas; her brothers C. R. Thomas and Pete Thomas and a sister, Lucille Dear.

She is survived by two sons, Norman Acreman of Enterprise, MS and Eugene Acreman of Vicksburg, MS; two daughters, Linda Wilcher of Morton, MS and Sherry Weeden of Tupelo, MS; nineteen grandchildren; forty eight great grandhchildren; two great great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Walker of Delhi, LA.

Pallbearers will be Keith Lawrence, Ronald Lawrence, Bubba Acreman, Loyd Acreman, Jason Acreman, Lester Oswalt and Blake Weeden.
