Funeral services for 78 year old Beverly A. Lozo, of the Canton United Helpers Nursing Home and formerly of 1133 Mayfield Apartments, Potsdam, will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Raymond Moreau, pastor of St. Patricks Church in Colton, presiding. Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.

Mrs. Lozo passed away early Sunday morning at the nursing home.

Mrs. Lozo is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Daniels of Norwood and Sharon and Brian Gall of Norwood, her four grandchildren, Nick Daniels, A.J. and Melanie Daniels, Tara and Nate Williams and Shauna Gall, her great granddaughter Taylor Daniels, her brothers Ronald and Joan LaPoint, Potsdam and Leo and Bonnie LaPoint, Potsdam and her sisters, Norma Atkinson, Massena and Barbara Baxter, North Carolina and a sister-in-law, Margaret LaPoint, Washington. She is pre-deceased by her son Terry and her son-in-law Charlie Daniels, her brothers Robert, Stanley and Donald and her sister Eleanor Barry.

Born in Potsdam on August 18, 1930 to Homer and Hattie Jerome LaPoint, she was pre-deceased by her two husbands, William Jay and Howard Lozo. She was a homemaker. She loved her family, children and babies and dogs. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was a communicant of St. Mary's church in Potsdam.
