Beatrice Mary Bennett, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the age of ninety six. She was born April 19, 1909 in Northampton, England to Harry and Beatrice Jackson. At nineteen she emigrated from England to Canada to marry her missionary sweetheart, William George Bennett. She and her husband, Bill, had three children and were married for sixty four years. They lived in Canada, England, and finally settled in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1955 where they lived until Bill's death in 1992. She then moved to Stockton where she has resided for the last thirteen years.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Darlene Watkins, of Fayetteville, NC, and her daughter-in-law, Maxine Bennett of Stockton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, by her daughter, Miriam Cahoon and her son, Lloyd Bennett. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren, as well as many great and great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 7030 N. El Dorado Ave.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Northern California Alzheimer's Association, 2065 West El Camino Real, Suite C, Mountain View, CA 94040.
