Annie Lizzie Donaldson, 84, a homemaker, died Monday, August 18, 2008, in Tallahassee. The service will be at 2:30 p.m. EDT Saturday, August 23, at New Hope Church of Christ written in Heaven in Crawfordville, Fla., with burial at Mt. Olive No. 1 Cemetery. Strong & Jones Funeral Home in Tallahassee (850-224-2139) is handling arrangements. She leaves to mourn five daughters and three son-in-laws, Mrs. Catherine Howard (King), Mrs. Alice Jean Williams (Sylvester), Mrs. Hilly Mae Slater (Joseph), Mrs. Rosa Simmons and Miss Eunice Donaldson all of Crawfordville; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Mr. Charles Donaldson, Mr. Allen Donaldson (Wanda) of Woodville, Mr. Robert Donaldson (Sharon) of Tallahassee, Mr. Herbert Donaldson (Rachel), Mr. Jeffery Donaldson (Rosiland), Major Melton (honorary son) all of Crawfordville; two sisters, Luberta Crump (Jack) and Mary Dorothy Sapp of Medart Fla.; two brothers, Mr. George Nelson (Delores) and Mr. Randolph Nelson (Mary), a sister-in-law, Estella "Hazel" Greene, and a close friend, Anita Townsend, all of Crawfordville; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and relatives and sorrowing friends.
