Elwood Zimmerman Dies In Haddonfield
Elwood Zimmerman, 62, brother of City Commissioner Howard Zimmerman, died in Haddonfield yesterday following an illness of almost a year. He made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Hayes, Haddonfield.
Mr. Zimmerman, a carpenter by trade, formerly resided in this city and is well known throughout Millville. He was a member of the Haddonfied Methodist Church.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Hayes and Woodrow Zimmerman of Haddonfield and Mrs. Dorothy Newkirk of Jamaica, N. Y.; five grandchildren and three brothers, John Zimmerman, Harrisonville; Howard Zimmerman, Millville, and Jacob Zimmerman, Bridgeton.
Funeral services will be held from the Zimmerman Funeral Home at 127 East Main Street on Sunday afternoon with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Dr. G. Ernest and Dr. Furman A. DeMaris of Haddonfield will conduct the services.
