EUNICE LENORA COOPER, of Greenfield, MO, left this life on earth Monday, May 25, 2009 in the Dade County Nursing Home at the age of 94 years after living there 8 1/2 years.

She was born August 6, 1914 in Dade County, MO. Eunice married Lloyd Leland Cooper on December 10, 1934, and they shared over 70 wonderful years together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Cooper; her parents, Chris and Emma (Bennett) Cummings; her son Bill D. Cooper; two brothers, Howard Cummings and Roy Cummings; one sister, Minnie Rowland; three infant sisters, Myrtle, Lora, and Ina; and a great-great-grandson, Kierce Adams.

Eunice is survived by two daughters, Jean Adams and her husband Don of Greenfield, MO and Donna Dodd and her husband Darrell of Dadeville, MMO; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two step great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Eunice was a loving wife and mother, and a great homemaker. She had a clean house and children. There was always good food and lots of love. Eunice liked to sew and work in the garden. She attended the North Allison Street Church of Christ in Greenfield with Lloyd. Eunice will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Funeral Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 in the Greenfield Funeral Chapel with Minister Ollie Adams and Minister B. J. Vernon officiating. Burial followed in the Dadeville Masonic Cemetery. The family received friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dadeville Masonic Cemetery or to the Dade County Nursing Home Auxiliary. Services were under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
