Francis Martin Hutchinson MILTON Francis Martin Frank Hutchinson, of Milton, July 10, 2009 at age 91. Born in Somerville, he graduated from Cathedral High School, Boston, where he was president of his class and captain of the football team. He served in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, fire control officer on the USS Simpson during WWII. Frank was a communicant and choir member of St. Gregory Church and member of the choir at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton. He was longtime employee of New England Tel & Tel, retiring as managing supervisor in the legal dept. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Kelly) Hutchinson. Beloved father of his longtime caregiver Joseph Hutchinson of Milton, Anne ODonnell of Framingham, Judith Hutchinson of Jamaica Plain, Kathleen Breslin and her husband John Breslin of Cumberland, RI and Thomas Hutchinson of Quincy. He leaves ten grandchildren: Tommy, Rachel, Hannah and Emma Hutchinson, Stephen ODonnell, Kate, Julie, Susan and Anne Breslin and the late Mary Elizabeth Hutchinson; and three great-grandchildren: Madeline and Emily Hutchinson and Matthew Furda. Francis is the last of ten children of the late Sabina (Gurley) and Thomas Hutchinson of Ireland and Boston: John, Thomas, Joseph and Paul Hutchinson, Mary Gentile, Katherine Torquato, Margaret Whittemore, Sabina Whittemore and Eleanor Abbasciano. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, Dorchester, Wednesday July 15 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
