Mrs. Edward A. (Betty J.) Bernhardt, 41, 5358 North High School Road, died yesterday in her home. She was a native of Putnamville and lived here 24 years. She was a member of the North Liberty Christian Church and its Ladies' Auxiliary. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the church. Burial will be in North Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Survivors, besides the husband, include two daughters, Diana and Debbie Bernhardt; three sons, Michael, Kenneth and Gary Bernhardt; father, Norman Runnells of Kema, Texas, and her mother, Mrs. Pauline Cooper of Cloverdale.
