Cathleen F. Godfrey RICHMOND - Cathleen F. Godfrey, formerly of Virginia Beach, departed this life Dec. 13, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, William T. Godfrey. She is survived by her children, William P. Godfrey of Virginia Beach, Lynne Golia of Buckingham, Pa., and Nancy Ann Rogers of Richmond; her sister, Eileen McDonough; and 12 grandchildren. She was a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital and the American Cancer Society. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Jan. 2, 2009, at 1 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Road, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
