In the community perhaps the outstanding monument to him is the beautiful Greenwood Cemetery. With others, he gave much time and thought to it. He has served as one of the association's officers and always gave thoughtful and careful supervision. And to this silent city that he helped create and beautify was committed his body as his last resting place.
