She married July 22, 1949 in Pierce, Wharton County, Texas, to Richard Jackson Langdon.

Services were held Tuesday for Elsie Clarke Langdon, 71, of El Campo, who died Sunday in a local hospital.
Elsie May Clarke was born November 23, 1914 in Pierce to the late Fred Webster and Cora Wade (Sanders) Clarke, Sr.
She was a lifelong resident of El Campo, a housewife, and member of the El Campo Eastern Star and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Bernhard; two sons, Jack Langdon of Palacios and John Langdon of El Campo. Two sisters, Amy Smith of Victoria and Naomi Chappell of El Campo; two brothers, Robert A. Clarke of Houston and F.W. Clarke, Jr. of El Campo; five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased in death by her husband, Richard Langdon; a son, A.T. "Bubba" Lincecum; and a brother, Horace Clarke. Pallbearers were Wade Boyd, Kenneth Boyd, Roy Boyd, Dean Albrecht, Stephen Clarke and Danny Stephens.
