Yvonne Carroll Allen of Carrabelle. - Yvonne Carroll Allen, 73, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at her son's home in Tallahassee, with her family at her side. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. EDT on today, July 21, 2008, at First Assembly of God Church in Carrabelle. The service will begin at 11:30 a.m. EDT with Pastor Larry Millender and Pastor Roy Carroll officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, also in Carrabelle, immediately after the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Allen's grandsons, Miah Allen, Quentin Allen, Landon Allen, Dustin Allen, John Moss and Clay Moss. A native of Woodville, Mrs. Allen was a lifelong resident of our area; and was a longtime resident of Carrabelle. She was a retired hairdresser, and a member of the Carrabelle Christian Center. Besides her husband of 55 years, Jimmy J. Allen, of Carabelle, other survivors include two sons, Randy Allen (wife Melinda) of Tallahassee and Kim Allen of Carrabelle; a daughter, Tricia Bedsole of Opp, Alabama; a brother, Roscoe Carroll (wife Betty); three sisters, Genevieve Putnal (husband Buz), Etta Kilbourn (husband Pierre) and Laverne Encalade (husband J.P.); seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Carroll, Fernandia Carroll, Elizabeth Mock and Eloise Carroll.
