Granvel Lydell "Red" Jones, 77, of Warm Springs, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at St. Bernard's Medical Center, Jonesboro. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a son, Granvel Jr. of Rockford, IL; a daughter, Gwenda Gorsuch of Rapid City, S.D., three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Eugene, Norman, Junior and Jake; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Sadie Nipps Jones; and a brother, Manual. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Chapel of Cox-Waymon Funeral Home. Burial followed in Warm Springs Cemetery.
