Mrs. Clyde Victoria Brock, widow of Doyle Brock, who passed away several years ago, died at her home in Braggadocio, February 17, after an illness of several years, cause of death being tuberculosis.
Mrs. Brock was born September 21, 1907, at Braggadocio and was aged 41 years, 4 months and 26 days. She had lived in this vicinity all of her life.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Baptist church in Braggadocio, the Rev. William Elliott conducting the last rites. Interment was in Maple cemetery this city, with H.S. Smith funeral home services. Pallbearers included Roy Curtis, Gordon Neece, Oscar Vaughn, Alvin Reeves, Tim Gibbs and a Mr. Davenport.
Mrs. Brock is survived by one son, Kenneth, a student at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville; one daughter, Miss Doris Brock of Green Bay, Wis.; six sisters, Miss Nola Grinstead, Mrs. Bonnie Faris and Mrs. Willie Chilton, all of Braggadocio, Mrs. Violet Gramlin, Marigold, Miss., Mrs. Leda Green, Farmington, Mo. and Mrs. Lonnie Long, Green Bay, Wis.; and two brothers, Frank Grinstead of Braggadocio and James Grinstead, U.S. Army.
