In 1982, Charles E. Nance, (nephew) told me (S PRICE Nance) about you. He called you Uncle Frank and that he lived near you as a teenager. When I started researching the Nance genealogy, I located your family in Dodge City. I began corresponding with your daughter Dorothey Nance Allen, who lived in Richland, WA. When I learned that you were the brother that your brother George I. Nance saved from drowning in Falls City, Nebraska, I was overwhelmed. I later had the opportunity to visit Dorothey in Richland and she related that in her childhood her father told the "story" many times of your older brother George drown saving your life. She told me how much it meant to their family to know where George was buried. I also had the privilege of receiving letters from your sons in Kansas before their passing. I am leaving this legacy for all your family descendants. George and you will never be forgotten.
