Hannah was born Jan. 17, 1920, in Manassa, Colo. to Samuel Jackson Jr. and Harriett Ella Mortensen. On Sept 13, 1939, she married Leland Reece Brady in Romeo, Colo, and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 7, 1942.
Hannah was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings. She particularly loved working with the Primary children and serving as a temple worker and missionary with her husband, Reece.
Hannah was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. She was a great homemaker and cook. She enjoyed canning and making candy with her children. She loved family gatherings, especially the family coming together on Sunday to enjoy her pinto beans and homemade bread.
Survivors include daughters Judith Hammond, Nancy Curtis, Ella Westley, Sharon (Terryl) Smith; sons Robert (Brenda), Anthony (Karla) and Daniel (Debbie); 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, and one grandchild.
Services will be Fri, June 19, 2009 at 12-noon at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends may call Friday from 10:45-11:45 am prior to the services.
