Anna came to America, in 1882, when she was just a few years young. The death certificate for one of their children, Raymond Nelson Heflin, stated that Anna was from Hadisly, Denmark. [Could this be Haderslev?]NRF.

She may have been the dau./o John & Christine Damgaard.

She met and married Charles Marvin Heflin in the Bride's home in Maryville, in Nodaway Co., MO on 31 May 1891. He was 21 & she was 18. The rites were performed by a Minister of the Gospel, W. B. Dabrymple.

They lived on a farm nr Maryville, in Polk Twp, Nodaway Co., MO where she d. at the very young age of 26 yrs 6 mo.s 3 da.s. There is no D.C. to help us determine why she d. so young. Since their last child, Flossie, was b. in 1898, she may have developed some health problems.

They had at least 5 children: Ralph; Lloyd; Lulu; Raymond & Flossie.
