Harry was born Harry Albert Forney. Some time before his first marriage (about 1888) Harry was adopted by Josiah and Savilla (Rowe) Flohr. He took the last name Flohr when he was adopted. In 1870 there was only one family living in Thurmont (Mechanicstown), MD with the last name Forney. It is quite possible that Harry came from this family. Harry's two wives were his 1st cousins, but by adoption only.
