RALEIGH -- Mrs. Martha Rosa Wardlaw Buie, 88, of 5505 Tarrywood Court, formerly of Red Springs, died Tuesday in Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church of Red Springs by the Rev. Ed Stock.

Mrs. Buie is survived by a daughter, Betty A. Dorman of Raleigh; two sons, John W. Buie of Red Springs and Bradley M. Buie of Raleigh; three sisters, Betty Wardlaw and Mary
Deason, both of Troy, S.C., and Annie Wright of Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, John Wardlaw of Simpsonville, S.C., and Frank Wardlaw of Troy, S.C.; six grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Red Springs Funeral Home, Red Springs.

Memorials may be made to Red Springs Presbyterian Church, 115 N. Vance St., Red Springs, N.C., 28377; or to Philadelphus Presbyterian Church, Red Springs, N.C., 28377.
