Ronald E. Robb, 39, of 929 Ford St., died Friday morning at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital. He had been a patient there since Dec. 16 and had been ill for the past two years.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Fox Funeral Home in Ogdensburg with the Rev. Thomas F. Driscoll, assistant pastor of the St. Mary's Cathedral, officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park in Ogdensburg.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; a son, three sisters, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Born in Gouverneur on Feb. 20, 1950, the son of Earl and Sara Wright Robb, he was graduated from Hermon-DeKalb Central School in 1969, and from Roethel's Business School in Ogdensburg. He was married to Deborah Richer on Sept. 2, 1972 at St. Mary's Cathedral by the Rev. David Steinbrickner.
He worked as a bookkeeper for the Anchor Down Restaurant in Ogdensburg. He also worked as a bookkeeper and cook at the Edgetown Restaurant in Ogdensburg. He operated the Hillside Restaurant in Heuvelton for three years and was a cook at Sholette's Steak House in Ogdensburg. His last employment was as a cook at the K-Mart Restaurant in Ogdensburg for 2 1/2 years. He was an avid bingo player and enjoyed bowling. He was a member of the Ogdensburg Mr. and Mrs. Bowling League and also the Heuvelton Bowling League.
