Ernestina Adame, 43, died May 8, 2009 at her home in Dodge City.

She was born February 26, 1966 at Sombrerte, Zacatecas, Mexico, the daughter of Raymundo and Margarita Borjas Estrada. A resident of Dodge City since 1988, moving from Mexico, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City. On July 20 1987, she married Jose Adame at Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico. He survives.

Other survivors include: 3 sons, Francisco, Rosendo, and Uriel Adame all of Dodge City; 1 daughter, Maria Adame of Dodge City; her parents, Mexico; 6 brothers, Reynaldo, Francisco, Miguel, Juan, Raul, and Jose Estrada all of Mexico; 5 sisters, Silvia, Maria Elena, Rosalba, Lorena, and Guadalupe Estrada, all of Mexico; and 2 grandchildren.

Vigil Service will be 7 pm Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Monday at the church with Fr. Enrique Estrada presiding. Cremation will take place following the mass. Friends may call from Noon to 5 pm Sunday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
