Former Foley resident dies suddenly
A 42-year-old Foley native died from a sudden illness early Tuesday morning in a Pensacola hospital.
Mrs. Joanne ‘Chickie' Lucassen Allen, daughter of Mr. and & Mrs. Joe Lucassen, Sr., of Foley, died early Tuesday after being hospitalized with an aneurysm late Monday.
Survivors, in addition to the parents, include her husband, Robert D. Allen of Pensacola; one son, Bobby of Pensacola; one daughter, Cathy of Monot, North Dakota; two brothers, Joe Lucassen Jr., of Foley and James Lucassen of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
A family spokesman said Mrs. Allen had lived in Pensacola for the past 20 years. Mr. Allen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Allen of Foley.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press time.
