Allen, Electra R., 98, passed away on May 31, 2009. She was born June 17, 1910 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Claybon and Edna (Newsom) Denton. She is preceded in death by husband, Emmett Allen; and son, William Purvey, Jr. Survivors include; daughter, Otha Dixson, Wichita, Kansas; granddaughters, Veda Dixson, Connie Burnett, both of Denver, CO, Lisa Reynolds, Vacaville, CA, Rhonda Cox, Cheverly, MD; grandsons, Barnabas Dixson, Jr., Denver, CO, Bradley Purvey, Jr., Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel. Burial to follow in Old Mission Cemetery.
