Mrs. Allguire was born at Too Creek, Wis., April 14, 1866. She came to Minnesota at the age of 3 years. When she was about 20 she moved to Lidgerwood, N.D., coming back here in 1919. She operated a millinery shop at Lidgerwood for a number of years.
She was married to Manson Allguire at Lidgerwood, N.D., in 1892. This union was blessed with two sons who survive to mourn their mother's passing, namely: John Edwin of Onamia, Minn., and Walter of Alexandria. Other relatives left to mourn her passing are four grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Theresa Kohoutek of Lidgerwood, N.D., Mrs. James Chan of St. Paul and John Hiebel of Alexandria. Her husband passed away in 1912.
Funeral services were at the St. Mary's church of Alexandria Aug. 24 with Rev. Wm. A. Renner officiating. Pallbearers were Frank Hiebel, John Weinholzer, Christ Hammer, John Kohoutek, Edward Kohoutek and Lynn Hounsel. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
