Maury H. Shepherd, 88, of Radford, died Saturday, May 27, 1995 at Radford Community Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Lillian B. Shepherd of Radford; one son, David Garth Shepherd of Radford; two daughters, Gwen Hughes of Radford and Lynn Morris of Mableton, GA; nine grandchildren, Tammy Jo Shepherd, Tonya Bishop, Tony Robinson, Daniel Hughes, Blake Hughes, Tre Morris, Greg Morris, Heather Morris and Joshua Morris; one great-grandchild, Lucas Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel, Radford. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, is in charge of arrangements.
