Mrs. Tennessee A. Brewster, 87, of Keithville, died Friday, March 11, at 9:30 a.m., in Fairfield Hospital in Shreveport, after a long illness.

Mrs. Brewster was a 25-year resident of Shreveport, and was a Baptist. She was a native of Pleasant Hill.

Services were at 10 a.m., Monday, in Wellman's Funeral Home chapel…. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Willie Brewster, and Otis L. Brewster, both of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Jessie E. Williams of Keithville, and Mrs. Mae Barnett of Benton, Ark.; one brother, Robert D. Alford of Gustine, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Rosamae Flenniken of Hornbeck, Mrs. Annie Slay of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ethel Jamerson of Alexandria; 13 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ted Brewster, Tommy Jacobs, Glenn Dickerson, I.W. Slay, Jewel Slay, and R.W. McClure.
