Professional Basketball Player, Jazz Musician. He played at the forward and center positions for twelve seasons (1985 to 1997) with the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns. He was a three-time All-American during his collegiate years at the University of Oklahoma, and was a member of the 1984 USA Men's Olympic Basketball Team which won a gold medal. He was chosen by the Pacers in the 1st round of the 1985 NBA Draft, and appeared in 840 career regular season games, scoring 12,878 points. In addition, Tisdale had a successful recording career as a jazz bass guitarist.
