My Mother.
Born to parents Marshall B. and Ethel E. Henneinke McNutt in Chicago, Illinois; the first of two children; also a brother, William. In her early childhood her father, after meeting and becoming friends with Paul B. Elder, he decided to move to the Northwest Ohio / Williams County area with the Paul B. Elder Pharmacuetical Company Of Bryan. Lived there through her teen years, graduated from Bryan High School in 1952.
In 1953 she met my father while in Fort Wayne and later was married on September 18, 1954.
She had three children; Steven, Sue Ann, and David. She was a house mom most of the time until 1967 when she took a job driving a school bus for our Fort Wayne Community Schools.
On May 13, 1969 our father unexpectedly passed away leaving her to raise us three children. It wasn`t the easiest of times, but she managed to do a pretty good job of raising us while doing the bus driving job. As the years went on, things got a little better. On June 1, 1986, her father passed away after injuries suffered in a fall. Later the same year her daughter got married.
In 1990, she welcomed her first grandchild, a granddaughter named Alexandrea . In 1992 her mother began showing signs of forgetfulness and eventually in 1998 she had to be put in assisted care where she passed away in September 1999.
In November, 2004 my Mom retired from her FWCS bus driving job she loved after 37 years. On February 25, 2009 she passed away after being in and out of the hospital for a year and a half with problems the doctors just never seemed capable of treating her for, the last six months of her life having to receive kidney dialysis.
She leaves behind Her son Steven, daughter Sue Ann, son David and his wife Waynette; her grand-daughter Alexandrea Ann, great grand-daughter Adelina Ann, Her brother William F. McNutt and his wife Maryann and her Sister In Law Patricia Goff and many cousins, nephews and nieces. Also her dog Pepper, cats Beuwlah "The Mewer" and big, fluffy ♥ Butch ♥.
She is very deeply missed by all of us and it is very difficult with her not being here.
