George A Stein, 76, RR 4, died Sunday at St. Lukes Hospital, Kansas City, MO. He was born July 29, 1902, in Leavenworth to Otto P and Mary Weiss Stein. He farmed his own farms. He was also a sheriffs officer, and was employed at the Port of Entry for more than 30 years, retiring in 1969.
Survivors include his two sons, George E. Stein RR4, and Charles J Stein RR 4, three daughters, Agnes Marie Holt RR4, Gladysanne Auvil, Hawaii, and Florence Elaine Rodgers Springfield Missouri, a sister Clare Wilkerson 214 N. Broadway. 14 Grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
