Joseph Albright was a founding member of this cemetery. He barely survived the Civil War returning home weighing less than 65 pounds after being imprisoned at Libby Prison in Richmond. He would be comatose for months, survive, father another child and outlive his first wife, and remarry. Most of his service was with Company K, 112th Regiment, 2nd PA Heavy artillery.
On 27 Dec 1858 he married Mary Ann McCurley Tate and they had: David T., John Sherman, Elmer Charles, William W. and Ray. In 1907 he married Ella Blue.
