Victoria was the daughter of Charles Jordan Cole from London and Mary Ann Russell from Norfolk. Granddaughter of William Thomas Cole from Gloucestershire and Sarah Gosling from Black Heath, William Russell from England. She was born at Bridgeport, the youngest of the three Cole daughters.

She married 29 March 1887 to Andrew Reed Kneebone in Marysville, Yuba County, and had five sons, only one was born at Bridgeport but allwere raised at the ranch at Spenceville:

Joseph Russell Kneebone 1890-1946
Alfred Alexander Kneebone 1892-1945
James Bernard Kneebone 1895-1986
William Henry Franklin Kneebone 1897-1918

The family lived at Andrew's Spenceville ranch. She obtained the Cole farm when her brother and sisters deeded their share of the Cole estate to Victoria in 1921. She was 68 when she died in Spenceville.
