Margaret K. Glotfelty, 73, Augusta, Kan., formerly of Meyersdale and Somerset, died May 18, 1981, in Augusta Medical Complex. She was born Jan. 9, 1908, in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John C. and Aliza T. (Baer) Kretchman. She is survived by her husband, Lee R. Glotfelty, whom she married Aug. 18, 1967; three sons: Dr. Joe Phillips, Wichita, Kan.; John Bruce Phillips, Miami, Fla.; and Jay Edward Phillips, LaVale, Md.; seven grandchildren. She taught school in Meyersdale, Somerset, Central City and Salisbury. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and served 25 years on the Somerset County Tuberculosis Board. Private graveside services were conducted in the Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, with the Rev. Ray Davis officiating. Arrangements were in charge of Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
