Jane A. Ahlstedt WEYMOUTH Jane A. (Hickey) Ahlstedt, of Weymouth, died Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the South Shore Hospital. She was 89 years of age and was born in St. John's, Newfoundland. She lived in Weymouth most of her life. Jane loved sewing and was a member of the Weymouth Newcomers Club and the Weymouth Women's Club. She also worked as a sales associate for the Bargain Center in Quincy for 20 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Ahlstedt. Devoted mother of 5 sons and 3 daughters Sister of Mary Marzialo of Manchester, CT and the late William Hickey. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rte. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital), Thursday at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
