Obit: Funeral services for Mrs. J.B. Atchely, who passed away last Monday night were held at the home on Spiller Avenue Sunday morning at 10 o'clock conducted by Rev. R.S. Kindel, assisted by Rev. Paul Bennett.
The Methodist choir sang several appropriate songs.
There was a large crowd of relatives, friends and neighbors from both town and county in attendance. The body was laid to rest in the city cemetery.
Those coming from a distance for the funeral were: Mrs. Ray Romans, of Los Angeles, California (nee Bertha Atchley, a daughter;Dr. Roger Atchley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a son; and Mrs. Ray Clayton of St. Paul, Kansas (nee Eva Hensley) a sister.
