WILLIAMSTOWN - James M. Adams, Sr., 58, of W. Market Street, passed away Saturday at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
He was born in Pottsville, a son of the late Marlin and Lorraine McCarthy Adams.
He was a 1968 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He was of the Methodist Faith. Before becoming ill he was employed by Faylor Middle Creek Construction, where he worked on road construction.
He was a member of the Tower City Loyal Order of Moose #1603 and the Sheridan Fire Co.
In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a brother John Adams.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Rose M. Carl Adams; his children, James Jr., Williamstown; Michael L., Valley View; Kelly A. Werdt, Tower City and John A., Williamstown. 1 Sisters, Gail Scheib, Williamstown; 2 Brothers, Gene of Tower City and Gerry of WV; 5 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 26th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City. Viewing will be from 10 -11 am at the chapel.
