She lived in the San Diego area most of her life before moving to northwest Arkansas area to be close to her son and daughter-in-law. She worked as an inspector with the Rohr Aircraft Company and loved to sew and make quilts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walton Benyr; and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one son, Ken Benyr and wife, Vickie of Bentonville; one brother, Frank Boyer of St. Louis; two sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" Boyer of Tiff, Mo., and Mary Boyer and husband, John of St. Louis; one grandson, Todd Benyr and wife, Kim of Bella Vista; and one great-granddaughter, Madeline Benyr of Bella Vista.
No services are planned. She will be placed in the mausoleum next to her husband in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in San Diego. Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
