Also Alderman, County Attorney of Douglas County, County Attorney of Elbert County, Douglas County Commissioner, and Superintendent of San Carlos Indian Reservation, playing part in subjugation of Geronimo. Wilcox Street in Castle Rock, Colorado is named for him. He arrived in Denver in 1860. He lived to be 86 years old.
