LEOMINSTER - Helen M . (Locke) Gamblin, 90, of 741 Seven Gables SE, Palm Bay, Fla., formerly of Leominster, died Sunday in the I.H.S. Nursing Home, Palm Bay, after an illness.

Her husband, James W. D. Gamblin died in 1945. She leaves a daughter, Bettie J. Morin of Palm Bay, with whom she lived; three grandchildren; five great-granchildren; nephews and nieces. A daughter, Margaret H. Brown of Georgia died in 1995. She was born in Leominster, daughter of Charles and Maud (Snow) Locke and lived here many years before moving to Florida six years ago.

Mrs. Gamblin worked at the Arrow Shirt Co. in Leominster. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Fitchburg and the Senioir Citizens Center in Palm Bay.

The funeral will be held at 1 p. m . Friday in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
