Jackie Artell Allgood, 72, passed peacefully from this life Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Jackie "Sue" as she was fondly called was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Synder, Okla., to Walter and Lela Fulps Blair. She was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and spent much of her life working in the insurance industry. Jackie retired from Cordell & Co. after many years there. She was perhaps best known as "the Avon Lady" at the Henderson Street Bazaar. Jackie earned numerous top awards for sales with Avon. Awaiting her arrival in heaven were her parents, brothers and many extended family members.
Survivors: Husband, Bill Allgood; son, Lonnie Kincannon; daughter, Michelle Estes and husband, Kenneth; grandsons, Jason Hearne and wife, Kim, and Jacob Hunter; great-granddaughter, Raelynn Hearne; aunt, Ruby Beason; and numerous cousins.
