Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Blackman of Bellingham; one son, David Russell of Spokane; 4 sisters, Mrs. Donna Jo Melland, City; Mrs. Patricia C. Alaniz, San Jose, California, Miss Sheila Mae Blackman, Seattle, Miss Jacque Lynn Blackman, St. Paul, Minnesota; 1 brother, Clemence M. Blackman, City; his grandmother, Mrs. Bess Blackman, El Paso, Texas; grandfather, Olaf Thoreson, Port Orchard, Washington.
