Jimmy Martin (Frogie) Holt, 34, 107 Colonial Hills Drive, Rogersville, died Wednesday morning (Nov. 18, 1998) at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, he had worked as a technician in the heating and cooling business. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard, and New Life Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Paula Mullins Holt, of the home; three daughters, Angel Holt, Tiffany Holt and April Holt, all of the home; his parents, James and Cecile Burton Holt Jr., Rogersville; two sisters, Melinda Miller, Rogersville, and Amanda Phillips, Hudson, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Lizzie B. Burton, Rogersville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Billy Singleton and the Rev. David Rutherford officiating.
Burial will be in the New Life Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
