Armas Alexander Aho
MENAHGA - Armas Alexander Aho, age 79, resident of Menahga, Minn., died there Monday, Aug. 27, 2007. Armas was born April 2, 1928, in Ulster Park, N.Y., to Elias and Aini (Ora) Aho.

He is survived by three daughters, Samra, of Minnetonka, Minn., Maria Samuelson, of Buffalo, Minn., and Helen (O'Neil) Jarrow, of Bethel, Conn.; four sons, Elias (Diane), of Menahga, Minn., Alfred (Anele), of Waterford, Mich., Mark (Amy), of Cokato, Minn., and Jon (Brenda), of Dayton, Minn.; 35 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert (Lea), of Buffalo, Minn., Aarre (Virginia), of Shelton, Conn.

Preceded in death by beloved wife, Helen; four brothers, Arne, Arvo, Alfred and Aimo; a sister, Elma; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at the Laestadian Lutheran Church, 1501 S. Eighth St., Brainerd, with Jon Bloomquist officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and the hour before services Friday at the church. Burial will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
