Elijah Daniels (MO death certificate #12959) was the son of George Pinkerton (Pink) Daniels & Rachel Jane Pirtle and the husband of Effie Elota Smith.

Elijah and Effie were the parents of 9 children: Oren L., Elhmer, Everett, Juanita, Charles, Ralph, William Robert, Cecil Jack and Fay Nell (born 1927).

Brother James H. Daniels & wife Dora are buried at Carterville Cemetery (Plot: Section 18, Lot 187) along with their father, George Pinkerton Daniels, their mother Rachel Jane Daniels (stone says Jane Daniels)and their sister, Louisa Daniels Simon Witt, her first husband, John Simon (my great grandfather's youngest brother) and 2 children of John & Louisa. Stones for John and these 2 children list surname spelling as SIMONE.

Son Cecil Jack is buried here at Saginaw with his wife Anna Mae Mauller Daniels. Cecil Jack is listed under "Jack C" and his Find A Grave #35210369.

Son Oren is also buried here at Saginaw.
His Find A Grave #43071140.

Daughter Juanita R. Daniels Duley is also buried here at Saginaw. Her Find A Grave #33658979. Juanita's husband was Edward Earl Duley (Find A Grave #27649118). He died of a heart attack while living in OK but is buried in Kansas. It appears that Juanita was his 3rd wife. He was the son of Earl Hamilton Duley (1878-1928) & Alice Mae King (1884-1966).

I believe that sons Everett & Ralph are also buried here at Saginaw. As for the other children, I'm still searching.
