Lorraine Anderson, 77, Ottawa, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 17, 1928, at Ottawa to James Henry and Dessie T. (Jones) Baker.

She was a lifelong Ottawa resident. She attended Ottawa schools through the eighth grade.

She cleaned houses. In earlier years, she worked for Mode O'Day and H.D. Lee, both of Ottawa.

She married Willard E. Anderson Sept. 26, 1949, at Garnett. He survives.

Survivors also include a son, Jay Anderson, Wellsville; a grandson, Jay B. Anderson Jr., Wellsville; a brother, Ross E. Baker, Vassar; and sisters, Wynona Tilcock, Topeka; and Bonnie Meyer, Topeka.

She was preceded in death by brothers, James O. Baker, Lewis J. Baker, Nilo Baker and George Baker.

SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2006.

IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Anderson after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary to service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Tuesday evening.

CEMETERY: Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Ottawa, Kansas.

MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to the St. Luke`s Hospital Dialysis Unit, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
