Services for Charlie R. McAnally, 93, of Chandler, are scheduled at Eubank Funeral chapel with the Rev. Mark Gossett, the Rev. Dwight Prather and the Rev. Kim Brunson officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mabank. He passed away Jan. 31, 2009, in Tyler. Mr. McAnally was born Nov. 22, 1915, in Wolfe City to William Marvin and Flora Curry McAnally. He was a member of China Grove Baptist. He loved his ranch, horses, cows, being outdoors and watching the animals. He was married 63 years to his precious wife, Ethelene, before her passing in 1997. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Surviving are son, Terry and Joyce McAnally of Mesquite; son, Jerry McAnally of Rotan Island, Honduras; son, Garry and Frances McAnally of Chandler; daughter, Flora and George Neville of Lorena; daughter, Gail Bowers of Flint; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ethelene Shelton McAnally; two daughters, Glynis Geneva and Cheryl Lynn; son-in-law, Jerry Bowers; six sisters and six brothers. Pallbearers are Kent Neville, Shane McAnally, Dwaine Daugherty Jr., Waylon McAnally, Charlie McAnally II, Jason McAnally and Scott Neville. Honorary pallbearers are Chase Johnson, Kristopher Neville, David Robinson, Justin Stocks and Ryan Neville.
